Here's a little internal update vlog we did back in the day that was pretty fun :)
Here's the released game gameplay, by 99TH VR on Youtube, without commentary.
As the Art Director of "Outta Hand," a groundbreaking VR gaming experience, I led the creative vision and oversaw the conceptualization of the game's immersive visual landscape and gameplay on it's early stages. Collaborating closely with a team of talented level designers, prop artists, and programmers, I played a pivotal role in shaping the artistic direction of the game from its initial stages of development.
Drawing upon my extensive expertise in visual storytelling and design, I spearheaded the creation of a captivating virtual world that seamlessly blends fantastical elements with highly optimized assets. By nurturing a collaborative environment and fostering open communication, I facilitated the seamless integration of artistic concepts with technical constraints, ensuring that the game's visuals not only met but exceeded expectations.
Throughout the development process, I provided guidance and feedback, working hand in hand with the team to refine the game's aesthetic appeal and maintain a cohesive artistic vision. From crafting visually striking environments to conceptualizing intricate props and assets, my role encompassed a diverse range of responsibilities, each aimed at elevating the player's immersive experience to new heights.
I sadly had to leave the project in pursuit of another opportunity at the time, although my collaboration with the amazing team at Capricia Productions, the foundation we set was later polished and shaped by the amazing in house artists and third-party collaborators from EPTA ( https://www.epta-art.com ), resulting in this amazing game, now available at https://www.meta.com/experiences/5344306855599112/
